Turmeric Detox Tea-nature’s medicine.
Turmeric is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory spices we have. If you are carrying around chronic inflammation, taking turmeric on a daily basis is going to help reduce that. Turmeric is also an antioxidant and helps boost our immune system. If you have joint pain, taking turmeric can help eliminate or reduce your symptoms. Making a turmeric detox tea is one of the best ways to include turmeric into your diet.

A few notes on the recipe:
- I like to make this iced. You can definitely drink it warm if you prefer.
- The coconut milk is optional. It does give it more of a creamy flavor. If you do use it, blend well in a blender. This is the coconut milk I use.
- Contents will settle over time. You can strain it, but you definitely don’t have too. (I don’t.)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tsp Turmeric Tonic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tsp raw honey
- 2 tablespoon coconut milk (optional)
Instructions
- Add turmeric tonic to mug. Pour hot water over. Stir well.
- Add lemon juice and raw honey. Stir well.
- Add coconut milk (blend well if using the milk)
- Serve over ice or drink warm.
